Challenge4Ben

Challenge4Ben is being established by Ben’s parents, Nick and Madeleine, to carry on Ben’s personal ethos of setting oneself demanding goals. The ultimate aim is twofold:

1) To encourage people of all ages to undertake some form of personal challenge that is outside of their normal comfort zone, and that requires commitment, courage, stamina or endurance, either physical or mental.

2) To raise funds via these challenges for worthy causes of their choice – but especially:-

Help for Heroes
Jersey Hospice Care
The Royal Marine Benevolent Fund

Challenge4Ben is registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission as a ‘Non-Profit Organisation’ - Reg No: NPO 0605

Abseil the Rock!!

Nick and Madeline,

Good afternoon from Gibraltar!

Yesterdays event was a resounding success and I am pleased to tell you that the 426metres of the Rock were successfully abseiled during what was a glorious, hot and sunny afternoon.

The abseilers ranged from the experienced to the completely unindoctrinated. Lots of the wives of the personnel serving in Gibraltar donned their C4B shirts and abseiled the Rooke Officers Mess too. There were a few hairy moments for some but happily everybody walk… Continue
